Tormento became outstanding at a very young age. As a colt he captured all the visitors of Criadero La Virgina due to his quality and beauty. Bred at La Virginia, Tormento was tamed and trained by Alex Alarcon, who had the satisfaction of handling and competing him throughout his entire career in Colombia.

Tormento arrived in the United States for his preparation to compete at the 2005 World Championship in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He put forth a brilliant season in 2006. Today, Juan Espino, a famous Puerto Rican trainer rides Tormento with pride and showcases this stallion’s beauty.
